Collaboration with James Rollins

The creator of Shadowfall just gave us his blessing!
A couple of weeks ago, our founder sent a letter requesting special permission to use Mr. Rollings’ intellectual property.
Since the idea for our game world was heavily inspired by Shadowfall, we felt it necessary to reach out to James to inform him and seek formal approval. While the world we’re building has little in common with the original work, it seemed only fair and respectful to let James know what we were creating.
Then came the anxious wait… and yes — here it is! We received a warm and very positive reply from James, the text of which is published below.
Of course, Irina, you are welcome to do as you please. As a big gamer myself, I’m honored that the books inspired your own artistic work in formulating the game.

Words can’t express how excited we were to be granted the freedom to work with the core concept and build our own mythology around it.
So! Gracebound will be written and released according to the original vision, just as our founder conceived it.
